Castle in Music – 2nd edition arises from the collaboration between the Thiene Castle and the Ludus Musicae association to enhance the dialogue between music, education, and historical heritage. The heart of the initiative is the Masterclass in piano and chamber music by M° Massimo Somenzi, aimed at students and young professionals, scheduled from August 31 to September 13, 2026.
The project includes a calendar of concerts: on September 8, piano recital by Daniele Martinelli featuring works by Schumann and Beethoven; on September 10, concert by Myriam Dal Don (violin) and Maria Grazia Bellocchio (piano); on September 12, Massimo Somenzi, Vincenzo Paci, and Giancarlo Di Vacri will interpret pages by Mozart, Brahms, and Šostakovič. On September 13, there will be a musical performance for families dedicated to Babar and the concluding concert “Emotions at the Castle,” with Livio Gemmo Jr. and Massimo Somenzi. The final event will be free entry with reservation.
