Villa Modolo is one of the 15 major villas in the Province of Belluno, included in the catalog of the hundred Venetian villas by Antonio Canova, and represents one of the greatest examples of a villa perfectly integrated into the grand tradition of the most significant Venetian models.
Traveling along the road that crosses the countryside of Modolo, one arrives at a small square where the family chapel dedicated to Saint Lawrence stands. Passing through the 18th-century gate, you enter the garden, encounter the old barn, and finally reach Villa Modolo, a grand construction from the early 19th century designed by architect Andrea Miari.
From here, the guided tour begins, during which we will discover together the history of the Miari family, the Villa with its gardens, the village, and the agricultural territory that surrounds it.
