A guided tour that leads from the entrance courtyard to the Renaissance building known as "CastelVecchio" via the external honor staircase. The first stop is on the large 16th-century panoramic terrace. We will then visit the precious halls of the Noble Floor, frescoed in the 16th century by Giovan Battista Zelotti, before exiting onto the second panoramic terrace and the “Duchess” hanging garden, overlooking the 19th-century building of “CastelNuovo”. Descent via a suggestive internal staircase carved into the rock of Monte Ceva (Euganean trachyte) down to the courtyard named after the “Elephant Fountain” with its typical Baroque style. Explanation of the sculptural group and frescoes of the monumental “Courtyard of the Giants”.
Free access with an unaccompanied visit to the historic park “Garden of Delights” and the late 15th-century entrance area known as "Beatrice's House".
Experience always available, by reservation.
